New Music Obsession – Of Monsters and Men

I know, I haven’t posted in FOREVER, and I apologize, but www.georgiahitchcock.com was undergoing some major changes. I won’t bore you with the technicalities - but I now have Google Analytics installed on my blog – yay!

Any who, I just returned from Coachella (weekend 1, post to come soon), and this band, sadly did not play the festival. They are my new obsession and I think worth a minute of your time – Of Monsters and Men hail from Iceland and have an alternative folky sound that will remind you of Mumford and Sons,  but with a flavor all their own featuring an accordion and a lovely female lead vocal as well.

Below is the video for their current single, “Little Talks”, however, I highly recommend checking out their entire debut album, “My Head Is An Animal“.
